Credit Controller

Experienced and target-driven credit controller seeking a new opportunity in Lincoln or Newark.

  • Ensure the ledger is chased thoroughly and ensure all invoices are chased and collected within their agreed payment terms
  • Ensure all high-value or potentially risky invoices are chased early, and any issues escalate to the relevant stakeholders to avoid any unnecessary financial risk
  • Ledger often has a value of 5-6 Million and is made up of 300+ accounts – solely responsible for chasing these accounts and collecting payments. Includes international exposure and experience with working with multi-currency ledgers
  • Dealing with daily incoming cash, daily cash forecasts, and creating and running client debt reports
  • Ensure the ledger is thoroughly chased and payments received within the agreed terms
  • Prepare and review bad debt reports and escalations
  • Continually updating the credit manager on the position of aged debt and liaising with client partners to ensure their clients maintain a clean ledger
