Benjamin Edwards was set up by Claire Wakelin an ethically focused recruitment specialist with over 26 years experience in the industry. She has worked for both national and independent consultancies before starting her own business Benjamin Edwards based in Lincolnshire.
Claire’s honest and compassionate approach has earned her a good reputation from candidates and companies alike. Her dedicated hardworking approach to resolving recruitment issues and finding the best candidate to fit the role both technically and culturally has always been her driving force.

Claire’s 26 years in recruitment started with Select Appointments where she got a taste for the fast-paced environment of job placing. From there she went on to become a Consultant for Harrison Willis in Nottingham, where she managed the temporary Accountancy staffing portfolio. Claire then furthered her career by joining SF Group, progressing up from Senior Interim Consultant, Quality Manager / Trainer to finally becoming Senior Consultant and Manager specialising in Finance and Accountancy for the Lincolnshire and East Midlands market.
In September 2016, with her expertise and passion for Recruitment Claire decided to take the plunge and set up her own Recruitment Consultancy Benjamin Edwards based in the heart of Lincolnshire
