Oversee engineering and operations across five regional sites, managing P&L responsibilities and 20 direct reports. Lead major initiatives to improve performance, cut costs and integrate smarter asset management practices through CMMS technologies and predictive maintenance systems.
Engineering Leadership – Lead engineering initiatives across multiple sites, overseeing asset maintenance regimes, improving OEE by 9% and driving implementation of predictive maintenance techniques. Champion FIIX CMMS deployment to increase visibility and improve uptime across the estate.
Operational Oversight – Manage site performance, analyse sales and operational metrics and conduct weekly one-to-one meetings with site managers. Ensure alignment across finance, procurement, quality and H&S by coordinating weekly reviews and attending bi-monthly board meetings.
Created a collaborative, high-performance culture where cross-functional teams work cohesively towards shared business objectives, driving engagement, accountability and sustainable results.
Capital Projects & Facilities – Direct site relocation and closure programmes, lead capex projects to improve infrastructure with a focus on energy efficiency and cost reduction. Develop obsolescence strategies and integrate TPM to support long term reliability.
Stakeholder Engagement – Maintain close relationships with sales, procurement and financial teams. Deliver reports and forecasts regularly and provide strategic insights at board level. Visit each site fortnightly to engage directly with managers and operatives on ground-level progress.
People & Performance Management – Guide a team of 20 direct reports, ensuring consistent communication and accountability. Drive cost savings through more efficient staffing structures, reducing overtime and improving individual team member productivity.
Strategic Planning – Analyse group-wide operations to identify inefficiencies, set improvement goals and track progress. Contribute to high-level decision making and corporate planning in regular CFO and MD strategy meetings.
