Assistant Accountant / Finance Business Partner

Are you recruiting for an Assistant Accountant / Finance Business Partner? CIMA part qualified and result driven individual with expertise in financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decision-making. Skilled in business partnering and has ability to deliver clear, insightful reporting to both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Advanced user of Excel and finance reporting software, with a strong track record of improving performance, streamlining processes and driving commercial outcomes.

  • Financial reporting, ensuring alignment with accounting standards and business objectives
  • Develop quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, aligning financial plans with strategic objectives
  • Month-end processing includes preparation and posting of journals for accruals and prepayments
  • Deliver training of finance systems to non-finance colleagues and system administrator of the finance reporting software
  • Member of the digital change advisory panel, to help implement positive digital changes within the business
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Managing freedom of information
  • Monthly forecasting
