A highly professional ACCA Financial Controller with a proven track record over 20+ years in leading the day-to-day operation of finance departments and providing critical business insight to help drive sound business decision making at senior levels. Exceptional analytical skills with a track record of driving the production of high-quality work and extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, methods, practices and terminologies. Well-versed in supporting leadership teams including on budgeting and forecasting, cash management and reporting. Excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence business critical decisions and forge positive internal and external relationships.
Leadership:
An experienced and energetic finance professional with Big 4 experience and a background of having held executive level responsibilities across a breadth of senior roles to deliver synergies across large-scale commercial operations.
Financial Management:
Advising on and implementing financial controls, undertaking financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, accounting and developing strategies with strong knowledge of UK and US GAAP.Well-versed in leading improvements from a financial perspective and delivering enhanced reporting to support senior management and budget holders make informed decisions.
Business Analysis: Skilled in developing strong working relationships with budget holders, providing sound advice on finance related matters and implementing robust financial reporting processes / controls.
Project / Change Management: Strong management of organisational change, providing analysis of fault lines and reengineering of resources, processes and systems to improve efficiency. Undertaking process realignment and transformations effectively within finance operations. Well-versed in leading projects through full lifecycles in accordance with best practice.
People Management: Ability to attract, select, motivate and empower high calibre people, setting challenging KPIs whilst supporting team members to put in place lasting legacies of process and business improvement.
