Management Accountant/Finance Manager/Financial Controller

CIMA qualified Finance professional with over 20 years’ accounts experience, developed from a starting role to gain experience working in purchase ledger moving through sales ledger and all departments to gain an all-round knowledge to progress through the financial roles up to senior finance.  An excellent team manager / team player with highly tuned communication skills.  Accustomed to working under pressure and meeting strict reporting deadlines.

  • Responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts, balance sheet recs and KPI packs.
  • Report directly into shareholders.
  • Responsible for managing a team of 10 people.
  • Liaise with and manage annual external financial auditors.
  • Control all payroll, pensions payments including CIS deductions for over 500 staff members.
  • Maintain full relationship with banks, invoice finance providers and all other 3rd parties.
  • Full Tax responsibilities including VAT, CIS, PAYE and Corporation tax
  • Control and manage all stocktaking
  • Source and implement new software.
  • Full responsibilities for creating monthly, quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Preparation of full analysis to expand on the financials and review all variances by cost centre
