Are you recruiting for a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner? Part qualified CIMA finance professional with experience in management accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting and treasury within SME environments available on short notice. Experienced in producing management accounts, financial models, cashflow forecasts and variance analysis to support commercial decision-making. Advanced Excel user with strong analytical skills, complemented by experience using Sage, Xero and Power BI to improve reporting, strengthen financial controls and deliver meaningful management information.

Maintained strong working capital through proactive credit control and supplier relationship management and effective day-to-day management
Created monthly MI packs incorporating variance analysis, customer and product profitability, KPI reporting and credit risk analysis, providing financial insight to support commercial decision-making
Produced rolling treasury and cashflow forecasts, providing early visibility of liquidity requirements and supporting operational decision-making
Supported year-end financial reporting through accurate month-end close procedures, journal postings and collaboration with external accountants
Strengthened financial controls by improving expenditure coding, increasing VAT recovery and reducing Directors’ Loan Account transactions
Supported business planning through workforce financial modelling, forecasting staffing costs, operational capacity and expected return on investment for proposed recruitment
