Exceptional Fully qualified ACMA Head of Finance, immediately available with vast experience in the food and FMCG industries. Has excellent leadership and operational business awareness and intuition and strategic commercial acumen with a proven ability to manage stakeholders and build and develop strong business relationships. A key strength is quickly understanding the issue/challenge at hand, reviewing the strengths and weakness to deliver, and then forming a plan to overcome any gaps and leading/supporting the team forward to succeed (on time and within budget).

ACMA Head of Finance in Lincolnshire

  • Review and restructure the finance team
  • Improved the KPI and daily/weekly/monthly P&L reporting
  • Commercial finance partnering with Sales Director to review tenders and price increases of £3m
  • Finance lead in creating and launching a S & OP monthly process. Reduce stock holding days and improved working capital.
  • Finance lead – In Profit improvement projects – Labour and Raw Materials. Reducing Spend by £1.5m per annum.
  • Roll out of the costing and NPD system across the business
  • Responsible for reducing the delivery of month end to 5 days, previously 12 days
  • Support the Exec team with ad hoc projects
  • Finance lead for 3 of the group businesses within three UK sites (£120m)
  • Improved finance controls and processes, which were then cascaded throughout the group
  • Commercial finance input into customer tenders and winning new business – over £40m
  • Operational Capex projects up to £80m, working with funders and also project team
  • Finance leadership for contacts with banks, HMRC and audit
  • Control and maintain ERP system, drive improvements in process to highlight PIP
  • Lead – cost out project – review poor margin Sku’s and either remove or EPD to improve GM
  • Responsible for delivery of month end, group budget and monthly forecast, and cashflow (managing a team of 10)
