Financial Controller/Finance Manager

ACCA qualified Financial Controller seeking their next opportunity. Experienced in the wholesale, engineering and telecommunications sectors. Has systems experience in MS Office including Excel, Sage Line 50, Sage 200, Powerpoint, TAS Books, Microsoft Dynamics, Pegasus Opera, IFS, Sage Payroll, Sage HR and Orderwise.

  • Production of management accounts
  • Additional management reporting including gross margin analysis, cash movements, stock movements, debtors and creditor analysis on a monthly basis
  • Part of the senior management team and attend monthly meetings with owners
  • Budgets and forecasting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Daily cashflow forecasting
  • Enter bank transactions and bank reconciliations
  • Review and authorise supplier payment runs, also make any ad-hoc GBP bank payments
  • Overview import delivery schedule and make import payments when required – GBP, USD, EUR and AUS$
  • Overview of invoice financing account – maintained by sales ledger
  • VAT returns and statutory returns
  • Year-end reporting and main contact for auditors
  • Payroll for monthly staff – Sage payroll
  • Uploading of pension data – monthly for all staff
  • Management of staff
  • Maintain fix asset register and calculate and post depreciation
  • Assist set up of new acquired business
  • Oversee the yearly financial audit, main contact for external auditors
