Manage Purchase Ledger accounts for multiple currencies
Run monthly KPI reports and month end ledger reports
Create SOPs for all processes pertaining to the Purchase Ledger functionality
Train and be integral for the implementation of new Workday Systems.
Migration of accounts, cleansing of ledgers and mapping of the day to day
Issue weekly ledger reports for business areas that required action and payment forecasting
Run biweekly payment reports, ensuring no duplication, under/overpayment or supplier changes would affect the payment run
Action PL quarterly internal audit reports and the yearly external audit reports
Run weekly ledger statement and rejection reports to ensure all the accounts were up to date and in line with the CTM standards
Run the quarterly Payment Practices report for internal account positioning and also submit the government bi annual reports, including every transaction, from receipt date, to approved to paid
Manage a small team and assist with their progression. Hold weekly 1-2-1s, quarterly goals and target reviews and ensure they are fully supported in their roles.

Key Achievements

Actively involved in reducing a main supplier account deficit from £4 million to zero
Created a daily upload system to convert supplier data into NAV specific language including training for over 70 apprentices across the business
Created and implemented a new CRM system, including implementation of new stock and cash handling processes nationwide
Individually selected and seconded to an 18-month project to create a new private sector process, resulted in successfully reducing supplier debt from £110,000 to £500 (within a 6-month period)
Improved the annual Payment Practices reporting from an average of 71% paid within terms to 92% paid within terms (last report was done 1st July 24). This was also including the over 60 day figures from 14% to 2% and the invoices processed had increased by 11% due to new contracts.
