Finance Manager/Ledger Manager

Immediately available Finance Manager with a wide range of experience gained over 20+ years in the Manufacturing industry. Adapts to change easily and willing to go the extra mile to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner. Able to effectively build relationships with other departments and external agencies.

  • Sales invoicing and aged debt control
  • Purchase invoice processing and aged creditor
  • Preparing VAT returns for approval and submission
  • Processing payroll (fortnightly and monthly basis for 100+ employees across 2 sites)
  • Maintain employee staff files ensuring contact, bank and emergency contact details are up to date
  • Processing of payment files to the pension fund
  • Payment of purchase invoices upon approval by the partners
  • Initiate approved payments via the banking portal
  • Input and update sales ledger with debtor payment receipts
  • Preparing daily reports to the partners
  • Preparing reports quarterly for the accountants
  • Reconciling bank statements
  • Ensuring month ends are closed on computer system
  • Point of contact for creditor queries to update daily with the partners
  • Manage a member of staff who assists with debt control and purchase invoice processing
