Accounts Assistant

An immediately available AAT qualified Accountant Assistant. A varied background of working as a PA/Administrator with finance experience.

  • Inputting sales invoices and reconciling Accounts receivable ledger.
  • Credit control by monitoring and reconciling receipts.
  • Communicating with in-house legal team regarding paid and overdue receipts.
  • Inputting purchase invoices and maintaining open invoice log.
  • Updating company cash book.
  • Setting up new case cases, maintaining costs per case information for the in-house legal team.
  • Daily banking for the GBP, Euro and USD bank accounts and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Providing company costings, processing regular expenses, credit cards and utility payments and
    ensuring costs were kept within budget and reducing these costs when possible.
  • Making payments to HMRC for VAT, National Insurance and PAYE as required.
  • Sage 50 and Sage 200,  Advanced excel
  • Operating in a wide range of environments, working under pressure and delivering to
    challenging deadlines with accuracy and innovation.
    Self-motivated, a forward thinker who is used to working on their own initiative to resolve problems
    and ensure management can focus on the key priorities.
  • Advocate of technological change, with the ability to pick up new systems with speed and ease.
  • Whilst working in a PA role has been involved in supporting the accounts department and holds AAT qualifications and accounting experience.
