Management Accountant / Finance Manager/Financial Controller

Diligent, reliable and dedicated ACCA finalist, with fourteen years of experience across practice and industry. Excellent at maintaining accurate financial records and implementing strong internal controls, proven through external audit and due diligence processes. Experience of managing teams and communicating financial information effectively to various business stakeholders.

  • Management of the day-to-day finance function, including financial reporting, producing management accounts, supplier payment runs, balance sheet reconciliations, expenses processing and the month-end close
  • Monthly and ad-hoc reporting of management information
  • Cash flow forecasting and budgeting
  • Liaise with external auditors, providing audit evidence, answering queries and resolving issues
  • Credit control
  • Processing monthly payroll
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Implementing and developing efficient and effective internal controls, procedures and management reports
  • Supporting head office through due diligence during two critical funding rounds
  • Improving, implementing and developing processes following implementation of an ERP system
