Financial Accountant

An experienced, fully qualified CA Accountant with first time passes, working for a large Practice and looking for a move into Industry.  Degree educated (2:1). Based in Lincoln but would be happy to look at remote working if the role outside of the area.

  • Worked successfully on an audit with tight reporting deadlines on an AIM listed company with group reporting
  • Project management and delegation leading the audit team throughout the engagement and being the main point of contact with clients.
  • Coached junior members on auditing techniques and software.
  • Reviewed audit files and workpapers and resolved any queries to be delivered to managers and partners.
  • Examined company accounts and account balances with resolution of accounting/technical issues raised by clients in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • Preparation of reports of audit results for the Board of Directors.
  • Also worked in financial services with asset management clients for consecutive audits.
  • Analysed and interpreted data within the company’s software.
  • Performed substantive testing to obtain sufficient and appropriate audit evidence.
  • Reviewed compliance with relevant regulatory laws and regulations.
