Successfully managed cash flow and supply chain payment expectations over a 24 month period following significant issues around a loss making project along with recommending and agreeing the presentation to the statutory accounts to best show these losses as a “one off” event.
Provided recommendations to the board on the statutory presentation of the group’s accounts, including changing of year end, to best present the group’s results whilst we concluded financial closure on a significant project in 2015. These recommendations were adopted by the board.
Re-structured the finance team to promote a more inclusive and cohesive team. This has included re-writing job roles, changing responsibilities and introducing regular up-date meetings that give the entire team the opportunity to contribute in an open environment. This also brought about cost savings through a reduction in headcount
