Management Accountant

A highly motivated and hard-working CIMA qualified Management Accountant seeking opportunities in Lincoln and surrounding areas. Experienced in the use of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Connect IT, Sage 50, Sage Intacct, Navision Financial Systems, Microsoft Office, and Docuware.

  • Processing month-end journals
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations and resolving any differences
  • Comparing Management Accounts against Financial Plan and providing analysis and commentary, as appropriate
  • Reconciling inter-company balances
  • Maintaining Fixed Asset Register and choosing appropriate depreciation policies for new fixed assets
  • Managing Accounts department with day to day queries and issues
  • Producing monthly Management and Financial Accounts
  • Liaising with Finance Director and department managers with above reporting
  • Authorising and sending supplier and sub-contractor payments
  • Assisting/checking payroll
  • Checking and filing monthly CIS returns and issuing statements to sub-contractors
  • Preparing, checking and filing quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparing year-end audit file and liaising with auditors on any requests and queries
