Management Accountant/Finance Business Partner

CIMA part qualified finance professional seeking their next opportunity. Experienced in MS Office including Excel & Word, Sage 200, Sage Payroll, Tableau, Creatio (CRM), Brightpay and Xero.

Daily reporting – updated various reports including a despatch report for the CFO and Head of Operations to show the previous day’s despatches, MTD figures and assist with forecasting month end revenue, the future accounts report and profitability report
Update the dashboard weekly, which had previously built. This includes various KPI’s from Pre-sale to Execution, then distributing this to various members of the team including the CFO and the Customer Engagement Director. Also chairs the bi-weekly meetings where they review this dashboard with the relevant team leaders.
Based on the information from the dashboard, update the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis with a month end forecast
Assist with training and managing other members of the finance team, reconciling customers, sales ledger account and dealing with payment queries
Calculation of the month end revenue and cost of goods sold accrual
Reviewing final P&L
Calculate various KPI’s to be used in the monthly board pack
Review the month end deferred income position/calculations
Update the calculations for the month end revenue accrual for open orders on the file previously created
Review the final operation costs for the distribution centre and home delivery with the Assistant Management Accountant to ensure all adjustments are correct

Review the final operation costs with the Head of the distribution centre and home deliveries to ensure they are happy with the costs and query anything out of the ordinary
Review monthly vehicle damages with the home deliveries team and the 3rd party suppliers of vehicles
Calculate various KPI’s for the Operations Director to be used in the monthly Board meeting
Provide ad hoc holiday cover for the BI analysis to load various data point and complete the daily commercial report, forwarded to the majority of the business including the CEO, CFO, Directors and team leaders. During this time, also cover the data loading and reporting on the weekly, monthly and yearly losses (replacements, refunds and returns).
Provide ad hoc cover for the Operations and Commercial Finance Manager to update the supply chain weekly forecast and review with the Senior Supply Chain Manager
Responsible for submitting the yearly packaging compliance data to Compliance Co-ordinator
Assist the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis with building, updating and improving various budgets and forecasts
Involvement in numerous projects to pull together and analyse various ad hoc reports
Involvement with the program for new starters in an attempt to improve company culture
