Immediately available CIMA qualified collaborative and effective finance professional with over 25 years’ experience, the last 10 having been spent in a variety of senior positions. Has proven experience in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Adept at budgeting, forecasting and communicating results driving organisational decision making, growth and efficiency. Leading and motivating a team of 15, including 3 direct reports
Leading and coordinating the mid-month and month end close processes, ensuring reporting deadlines for submission were met
Developing insightful reports to provide accurate informative monthly management information for head office, along with 2 further divisions
Collaborated closely with both internal and external audit teams, identifying current weaknesses and implementing controls, processes and structure to ensure a strong, compliant control environment
Performed a thorough review of the accounts and chart of accounts, putting measures in place to ensure that all revenue, direct and indirect expenses were reported correctly and consistently within the correct categories, ensuring reports provide accurate information
Weekly meetings with the Managing Director to ensure was kept informed about the financial position, was aware of potential risks and that organisation was aligned on any tasks required

Management and oversight of daily financial operations for 10 buildings, including the management of a growing team
First point of contact for landlords to discuss financial performance and understand the risks, opportunities and future forecast for their buildings and to guide operational and strategic decision making
Review of Service Level Agreements with external IT providers and Facilities Management companies revising the scope of work where necessary to improve efficiency and value for money
Advising landlords and the internal teams of accounting treatment and method of accounting to ensure consolidations are accurate
Working alongside landlords to ensure audit information and explanations are provided
Preparing cost benefit analysis for presentation to landlords in relation to proposed capital projects
