Financial Controller/Head of Finance

  • Responsibility of finance function reporting to the MD and managing 7 direct reports
  • Oversee production of monthly management accounts with commentary alongside sales and overhead analysis
  • Management accounts for other businesses within the Group
  • Balance sheet review for all businesses in the Group
  • Preparation of annual budgets alongside departmental managers
  • Group reporting pack to directors, bank, and other external stakeholders
  • Group VAT returns
  • Payroll function including pensions management, P46, cars and P11Ds
  • Preparation of year end audit for Group along with review of statutory accounts and tax computations
  • Management accounts for overheads including all journal preparation and input Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly variance reports for 21 cost centers with full commentary and rolling forecast
  • Monthly salaries for 160 staff including pension management
  • Gender Pay reporting
  • Annual budgets for overhead cost centers and monthly salaried staff
