An immediately available CIMA Qualified Financial Controller. Experiencd in SME’s and larger organisations gained in Utilities, Logistics and Automotive industry.  Organised with high analytics and excel skills, attention to detail, self-motivated, focused on adding value to businesses. Extensive people management experience. Native French speaker qualified in DESCF.

Managing 2 large business units “Information Services and  Wholesale & Customer Services” in complex environments with large capital investment projects, part of the senior B.U leadership teams and providing financial assurance, cost visibility to achieve extensive efficiency initiatives to deliver value for our shareholders.

 

  • Delivering monthly reporting with insightful analysis, management Information, variance analysis, cashflow, balance sheet reconciliation providing clear visibility of the cost base to the Senior Leadership team (KPIs, FTEs, risks and opportunities). Timely completion of those tasks enabling better decisions.
  • Providing cost modelling for specific projects and managing BU budget planning process (budgeting & forecasting, roll up, pack for challenge meeting).
  • Driving continuous improvement by effective processes and automation, using IT tools and Lean approach materials thereby removing non added value activities.
  • Leading, supporting and developing a team of management accountants to be high performing, delivering excellent customer service and educating Senior Managers on running the business in compliance with financial controls.
  • Part of the project team implementing  a new reporting system in Nov 2018 delivering new set of internal financial reporting, creating standardisation, reducing reporting delivery cycle to 2 days to the management and integration with HR systems.
  • Delivery of various pricing model for our commercial customer, approved by the Wholesale board with clear unit cost visibility, overheads and margin tracking.
  • Set up of tender financial comparison models, providing financial analysis as part of the project team delivering 2 major IT/Telecom re-lets
  • Leading the implementation of a new  Stock process reducing working capital by £1M by rationalising spare parts, adding controls and assurances to remove item from the risk register.
