Finance Manager / Company Accountant

Experienced Finance Manager, Available Immediately due to redundancy. Experience in all aspects of Ledgers, Management Accounts and Financial Reporting. Looking for a new challenge where current skills will help to streamline and consolidate financial reporting to enable businesses to make informed choices based on reliable data.

Responsible for a small ledger team, including reviews, HR interactions and training.
Sole control of the production of the management accounts and presentation to the Board
Daily / Weekly Cashflow, bank reconciliation, credit control
Month end accounts including prepayments, accruals, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets including deprecation postings.
Data analysis for the senior management team
Budget and quarterly forecast production, presented to senior management for review.
Production of a weekly P&L presentation deck for multi sites
Production of the Monthly board pack for senior management
Produce a consolidated report of the 13-week cashflow & weekly flash report detailing performance vs. budget/forecast.
Preparation and consolidation of monthly forecast & annual budget along with commentary and variance analysis
Production of statutory accounts and key contact for audit and annual accounts review
13 Week Rolling Cashflow reporting , weekly bank reconciliation.

Key Achievements:

Assisted the Group Financial Controller through a challenging period in the business by implementing improved controls and reporting.
Reduced the deadline on reporting and cleared a pre existing back log
Automated manual processes to enable the team to work more effectively.
Creation of a weekly P&L Reporting pack including KPI’s & Graphs to easily interpret the financial data in a way to inform decision making
Reduced the time taken to produce the consolidated reporting deck by 1.5 days by implementing more automation in the reporting.
Creation and implementation of new consolidated reporting suite with variance reporting against Budget & Prior Year.
Implement and coordinate results review conference calls with Leadership Team
Reduced the accounts production time from 7 working days to 1 through implementing process improvements and standardising output
Being part of a team that successfully implemented TM1 in order to produce standardised reporting across the business.
