Assistant Accountant/Finance Manager/Ledger Manager

Immediately available, experienced Finance Manager with nearly 20 years’ experience in the Food industry, seeking a new opportunity.

  • Supervision of staff
  • Ensure ledgers are maintained in line with company policies and procedures
  • Review of purchase ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up to date
  • Preparation of timely payments to suppliers and other ad hoc requests
  • Assist with preparing general ledgers for financial reporting
  • Control account reconciliations
  • Completion of monthly VAT return
  • Maintain cash management functions including currency cashflows, including monthly reporting to Group
  • Bank account reconciliations
  • Maintain Capex and Fixed Asset registers
  • Completion of Ad-hoc externally requested information e.g. National Statistics Office
  • Preparation of annual PSA calculation
  • Assist with and implement new accounting systems
  • Assist with ad-hoc information as required
