Accounts Assistant/Assistant Accountant

Immediately available, highly organised, efficient, and dependable Accounts Assistant. Conscientious, hardworking, and numbers orientated with the ability to learn things quickly. Comfortable working independently or as part of a team and is motivated to continuously improve and succeed and would like to be given the opportunity of being more involved in the financial side of accounting. Currently studying AAT Level 4.

  • Asset Register and management
  • Credit card reconciliations and auditing
  • VAT Returns
  • CIS Returns
  • Payroll
  • Timesheet Management and tracker analysis
  • Prepayments and Accruals
  • Providing excel training and process improvement
  • Creating reports, Report templates, KPI Dashboards and automating these files using excel formulas
  • Scholarships – Stipend, Fee allocations, and answering any questions on this
  • Working with departments to monitor and assist with their budget management
  • Fixed assets – Creating assets, disposals, Year-end verifications, and physical verifications
  • Preparing project reports on spend, commitments against budget
  • Posting and preparing journals (transfers, pay allocations)
