Are you recruiting for a FP&A, Commercial Finance professional or Financial Controller? ACCA qualified FP&A leader with 13+ years owning budget cycles, forecasting and board reporting in businesses from VC-backed start-up to £650m turnover, including PE-backed environments through to exit. Has led budget and forecast transformations, implemented CPM and ERP systems (Prophix, Xero, Power BI), and built driver-based three-statement models underpinning strategy, refinancing (£250m RCF) and M&A. A trusted business partner to CFOs, executives and investors, with a record of developing finance teams and raising the standard of insight a business runs on.

National commercial truck & van retailer (family-owned group, c. £600m revenue)

  • Designed and implemented a group-wide management reporting framework covering daily, weekly and monthly reporting across management accounts, cash flow, KPIs and commercial performance
  • Built an integrated three-statement strategic model supporting long-term decision-making, going concern review and evaluation of expansion opportunities
  • Automated consolidation of actual, budget and forecast data, improving data integrity and accelerating report delivery
  • Upskilled the finance team on new tools and processes (Advanced Excel, Power Query, Power BI)

National housebuilder (PE-backed, c. £500m revenue)

  • Delivered a three-statement forecast model and five-year plan underpinning strategy, scenario analysis and DCF valuation for executive decision-making
  • Supported the CFO through an Independent Business Review and the refinancing of a £250m Revolving Credit Facility with a syndicate of major banks
  • Supported M&A activity including an attempted merger with a listed competitor and acquisitions into new markets
  • Led going concern analysis, impairment reviews and long-term covenant compliance forecasting
  • Implemented a performance management framework and improved the budgeting and forecasting cycle, raising forecast accuracy
