Running a finance department and managing a team of 8
Review and sign off the Balance Sheet each month including the fixed asset register and inter-company accounts Responsible for P&L analysis including reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Business partner providing management information to support and influence key business decisions.
Working with Credit and Risk to reduce fraud. Improving chargeback defences and testing procedures.
Managing the day to day relationship with third party payment providers, investigating and resolving payment issues.
Mentoring apprentices and improving standards in the team for reporting.
Testing new payment methods.
Responsible for the year-end audit process, ensuring all teams adhere to the year-end timetable and work is completed on time for review. Liaising with external auditors, ensuring all documents and evidence is obtained and responding to queries.
Preparing consolidated financial statements including trading subsidiary financial statements in accordance with latest accounting standards
Managing £40 million investment portfolio. Preparing month end journals. Investment reporting for key internal stakeholders. Liaising with the Risk Committee to ensure investments adhere to the risk policy.
Monthly payroll forecasting in excel for over 500 employees.
Monthly capital and acquisitions forecasting.
Monthly cashflow and fund forecasting
