Marketing Assistant
An opportunity to be a part of a small, dynamic, creative Marketing team within an award winning international business
Aim of role:
The Marketing Assistant will assist the Marketing Manager to support the Ecommerce and Sales Teams with all Marketing activities. The Marketing Assistant has responsibility for working in alignment with the overall strategic approach.
Key Tasks:
Assist the Marketing Manager in the co-ordination and delivery of local and international multi-channel marketing campaigns
Manage and deliver marketing collateral for all Ecommerce and Reseller marketing activity
Creative copywriting (on and off line)
Write and distribute press releases developing contacts and relationships
Manage and monitor all social media; including both B2C and B2B channels, engaging with the brands following
Manage paid advertising across social media
Stay current on new social media platforms, using tools and best practices; presenting important developments to the internal team
Lead Influencer activity; managing collaborations, recruiting brand ambassadors
Work alongside the Ecommerce team to run and manage Email campaigns
Compile reports on marketing activity
Provide support for all events
Provide support for all photo and video shoots
Uphold the brand image and tone of voice at all times
Plan and monitor workload
The Ideal candidate will have either one years experience in a similar marketing related role or a Degree in Marketing
Good organisational skills
Effective project management skills
Sound understanding of marketing principals
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal (both internal and external customers)
Can work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Keen attention to detail
Confidence
Commercial awareness
Adaptability
Nice to have:
Experience reporting and analysing social media KPI’s
Experience using an Email platform such as Dotdigital
Understanding of Google Analytics
A proficiency in Creative Cloud; InDesign and Photoshop
The candidate should have a Marketing or creative practice related degree, must be social media and digitally savvy and have strong creative copywriting skills.
