The Role
· Management of production information across the business in relation to material inputs, factory processing, labour costs, sold outputs, stock movements, and reconciliation as part of the delivery of timely weekly production statistics
· Derivation and management of accurate product costings and effective product type and customer sales gross profit reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
· Delivery of monthly Management Accounts to finalised level for review by the Finance Director, to include all Balance Sheet reconciliations as appropriate
· Assisting the Finance Director and the Finance team with financial transactions, day-to-day compliance areas, and internal and external reporting, as may be required
Ideal Candidate
· Proven recent senior-level experience in a similar role within an SME
· Qualified, Part Qualified Management Accountant
· Experience in establishing and implementing effective stock control processes and systems
· Excellent computer skills and knowledge of the applications relevant to the position: ERP systems and strong on excel
· Highly organised and able to work under minimal supervision
· Strong communication skills: Manage effectively both customer and internal relationships
· Effective people skills: Must have the ability to handle people no matter how difficult they might seem
· Ability to multi-task: Must be able to complete several tasks together and meet required deadlines
· Ability to work under pressure and still be effective
