Bookkeeper – Lincoln – £22- 27k + study + benefits – hybrid working available. We are looking to recruit a full-time capable Bookkeeper with payroll experience with at least two years’ experience, for a friendly accountancy practice based in Lincoln.

Role of Bookkeeper

The Bookkeeper role will include monthly and quarterly bookkeeping and payroll, together with other ad hoc duties:

  • Production of management accounts, including maintaining sales and purchase ledgers and bank reconciliations
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Preparation of monthly and weekly payroll
  • Dealing with day-to-day queries with clients
  • Year-end accounts preparation

Ideal Candidate for the role of Bookkeeper

  • Experience of Sage or Xero would be advantageous
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential
  • As an experienced Bookkeeper, the role is varied and gives great experience of working in a practice. You will need to manage multiple clients and meet regular deadlines. Organisation is essential
