Management Accountant

An immediately available ACCA  Senior Accountant/Management Accountant with a proven track record working within a multi-million-pound turnover company as well as a leading chartered accountancy practice. Proficient in accounting across a broad spectrum, from being involved in core transactions through to commentary of weekly accounts to the finance director. With nearly 10  years of experience in practice and industry, is now seeking a new opportunity in North Lincolnshire.

  • Production of weekly US accounts for VP of finance and finance director.
  • Commentary of weekly accounts i.e variances and margins discussed.
  • Supervising purchase ledger and treasury function.
  • Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage supplier payments to UK and US suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance of legal and tax compliance within US states.
  • Monthly meetings with US team to discuss process improvements and address any issues.
  • Providing technical support to the partner where required; tax implications, IFRS.
  • Accounts preparation for a variety of clients.
  • Training and supervising junior accountants.
  • Monthly management accounts and cash flows.
  • Auditing for a range of clients.
  • Solicitor testing.
  • Developing abilities in more complex areas of tax computations.
  • Demonstrating commerciality with clients and in decisions made.
  • Maintaining CPD to ensure technical competence commensurate with the position.
  • Managing clients in a commercially successful way.
  • Working to achieve chargeability targets.
