Product Manager

A versatile immediately available Product Manager with over 15 years’ experience in sourcing and development of private label, licenced and OEM consumer products.   They have worked in a diverse range of product sectors and services including i.e. gifting, toiletries, apparel, soft accessories, dress up, education, logistics, home enhancement and the car aftermarket, project managing ranges that need to be developed.  They are customer centric, methodical and efficient with a keen eye for detail.  They have the ability to draw upon extensive product knowledge, self-learn, use initiative and work autonomously whilst collaborating and coordinating with others to problem solve, take calculated risks, adapt to changing business needs and deliver the results required.

  • Developed an exclusive range of toys for major retailer – £2m Turnover
  • Initiated a project with technical to consolidate factories and save on testing costs, contributing savings on P&L
  • Travelled to Hong Kong and China and developed business with new factories and created new OEM innovations
  • Maintained 30% margin on all products sold to Major retailer through negotiation without devaluing the range.
  • Rescued a major account, converting a loss leader, bringing in additional £89k
  • Developed European business through relationship management and trend analysis worth £2m
