Management Accountant

Management Accountant CIMA Adv Dip MA, actively studying towards the full CIMA qualification (currently progressing through the final level). Has accounting experience in both practice and industry. Seeking new opportunity in Grimsby, Lincoln, or Scunthorpe.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, responsible for assisting with the preparation of the management accounts as well as day-to-day accounts tasks.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the fixed asset register, and bank reconciliations.
Developing new reporting on spend, allowing comparisons to budget and previous year’s values
Assisting with the installation and testing of a new management system, as well as monitoring the day-to-day activities and stock levels.
Implemented monthly departmental spending reports
presenting financial information to non-financial managers in an easy-to-understand format.
Re-designed the reconciliation process

Responsible for the management and development of colleagues
balance sheets reconciliation
Accountable for the company cash books, including ledger allocations and reconciliations.
Responsible for processing the monthly Intrastat VAT reports.
Dealing with external audit and other ad-hoc queries.
Created new report formats
