  • Ownership and management of multiple global office premises across 16 countries including Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, UK, Ukraine, US.
  • Strategic planning, day-to-day delivery of property and facilities operations for a software development and consultation business whilst providing detailed guidance to regional facilities at global level.
  • Partnering with senior management and finance team on annual business planning cycle relating to all facilities requirements.
  • Ownership and management of costs, agreeing and working to budgets using regular analysis and reporting.
  • Supervision and management of 3rd party service providers and contractors, ensuring the best value and first-class service is delivered.
  • Leading the company’s health and safety strategy; drafting, reviewing, and maintaining company procedures to promote a safe and secure working environment and ensure all relevant training and compliance requirements are met.
  • Delivering best allocation, utilisation of space and resources in current premises or in future planning for new buildings. Keeping up to date with space management trends and innovations.
  • Closure/downsizing/opening of premises, ownership of the project from conception to completion.
  • Achieving the facilities and admin compliance for ISO27001, CSA STAR & SOC2 accreditation.
  • Leading committee meetings and regional teams to ensure delivery of correct information.
  • Securing the best resources for necessary work in offices, materials, and equipment for employees.
  • Approving supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
  • Analysing company expenses and global facilities costs, reporting to C-level the findings, trends, and issues – addressing any issues with Head of Functions and the regional points of contact.
  • Accountable for global travel policy, TMS system, compliance, travel issues, employee duty of care and tracking, negotiation of hotel rates, and implementation into regional systems.
  • Holding a $15M budget in a $100M company.
  • Creation and continual reviewing of global expense policies, ensuring all employees have acknowledged the content and adhere to the rules.
  • Creation of new homeworking policy (driven from pandemic) rolled out globally via a new online system.
  • Annual country cost analysis throughout all departments and questioning spend with Head of Functions to ensure every cost is accounted for.
  • Set up and ran the business alongside partner, achieving 300% growth within 2 years, responsible for sales and marketing, creating marketing collateral and advertising campaigns.
  • In collaboration with the development team, scoped and designed each customer project to translate the customers ‘dream’ into a technical plan that would deliver their requirements through innovative online software development.
  • Developed and implemented a successful regional marketing strategy which within 6 months resulted in being appointed by FSB as a preferred consultant for new media and business consultant in the East Midlands.
  • Offered free consultancy services for start-up businesses, assisting with strategic planning of their short and long-term goals and instilling KPIs.
  • Coached employees on working together with customers, listening and understanding requirements, how to articulate back to customers’ issues or blockages in projects.
